Very cool smokinjoe, i am looking forward to those
I found this in the old forum: Guitars, Design, Production and Repair by Jim Donahue. Posted by JohnSON it looks pretty good, i've only had time to look thru it fast.
Maybe you can ask him to post it here too.

I recommend this link:
:code: h**p://rapidshare.de/files/5964919/Building_Electric_Guitars.pdf.html
Pages 206 to 214 (Guitar Set-Up) should clarify almost all your queries on guitar set-up.
Good luck and thanks to JohnSON. I took this link from one of his posts on another board.
In addition. Many thanks to the author Martin Koch. Great knowledge.

I've got a semi-acoustic and a 12-string that are both desperately in need of attention. I was considering paying for them to be setup properly but i figure in the long run its better if i learn how to do it myself.
If anyone has any experience or knowledge or resources they can share that would be great =]

Other thing... anyone had tried the fretwave system, or the buzz feiten system?...

For general set up info I use this site a lot. Good info. Not a lot of pages to flip through if all you want is the bare bones info.

I have found this site useful for mods, don't know if its been mentioned before
h**p://www.guitarnuts.com/index.php
I've done the shielding one on a cheap strat and it worked pretty well (in that there was a lot less hum) , (with a few soldering mishaps on the way, but I learnt quickly). Hope you can get some good info from this site as well.
